I will tell you what shaped the island’s extraordinary landscapes, who the Guanches were and what stories lie hidden behind the places you visit.
Your narrator on this journey is Achamán – the supreme being in the world of the Guanches. According to one story, it was to him that the Guanches turned when Guayota imprisoned the Sun inside Teide.
💡 Take a closer look at the small figurine hanging around Achamán’s neck. It is there for a reason. It was inspired by the Guatimac – an authentic artefact associated with Guanche culture, discovered on Tenerife in the 19th century.
