Beaches on the island of Euboea

Evia offers beautiful and diverse beaches, from rocky ones to pebbly and those with fine, white sand. There are as many as can be found along the 680 km long coastline.

Popular beaches are usually crowded right from the morning, especially on weekends when local Euboeans take advantage of their free time.Evia provides beaches hidden in small coves, where there are no taverns, shops, and sometimes even sunbeds. Instead, there is peace and quiet.

Lichadonissia on Evia

A beach rightfully called the Greek Caribbean.

In fact, the beach is not located on Evia. Lichadonissia consists of several tiny islets located west of Northern Euboea. You can reach here by boat from the village of Kavos.

Boat transport with transparent bottoms is well organized. You can book a ticket in advance (link), or you can buy it on the spot.

It's worth reserving the whole day, as half of it will be spent admiring the place.

Nisiotissa on Euboea

A slightly rocky beach, yet calm and in a charming setting of palm trees.

Worth visiting especially for those interested in castles. Not far from the shore is a small islet Minastiri with the ruins of a medieval building, the purpose of which has several hypotheses.

Kimaki on Evia

A beautiful bay beach with fine, soft sand. A few sunbeds fill up quickly, so it's worth arriving in the morning, especially on weekends. At that time, locals also come here. You can bring your own towel, as part of the beach has no sunbeds. There is a bar, toilet, and shower.

Paralia and Cheromylos

Two twin beaches. The water here has an incredibly turquoise hue. It's worth climbing the nearby hill, as then the cove reveals all its beauty.

Kalamos

The beach features fine, light sand and crystal-clear turquoise water. It is a favorite spot for families with children since Kalamos offers a shallow and calm entry into the sea. Taverns and shops provide everything needed to enjoy a pleasant day. The beach is distinguished by the specific shape of nearby rocks with a natural opening.
